BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Saleh Yahya has been reelected unopposed as the Country Coordinator for Zanzibar. Dr. Yahya is a lecturer at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a PhD in Marine and Coastal Science from Stockholm University (2011) and his research interests are coral reef ecology and coastal and marine resource management. His vision for his second term in office is to expand the reach and recognition of WIOMSA in Zanzibar and to achieve a greater participation of Zanzibar members in the affairs of the Association
