EWURA hereby publishes cap Prices for petroleum products, applicable in Tanzania Mainland effective from Wednesday, 5th February 2025 at 12:01 am. Petroleum products cap prices For February 2025, are based on FOB prices that prevailed in January 2025. Compared to December 2024, the January 2025 FOB prices increased by 3.82% for petrol, 6.77% for diesel, and 5.87% for kerosene.

The applicable exchange rate for February 2025 pricesincreased by 4.77%.In February 2025, the premiums decreased by an average of 4.90% for petrol, 14.94% for diesel and 0.81% for Kerosene at Dar es Salaam Port; with no changes at Tanga Port; and decreased by 6.34% for both petrol and diesel at Mtwara Port.

Retailers Wholesalers are required to sell petroleum products at the cap prices indicated Legal action will be taken against any retailer or wholesaler on non compliance.
