NEEC EXECUTIVE SECRETARY MRS.BENG'I ISSA RECEIVING A BOOK GIFT FROM MZUMBE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATOR DR. VENNANCE SHILLINGS IMMEDIATELY AFTER PRESENTING THE TOPIC OF MENTAL HEALTH TO NEEC STAFF
RETREAT SESSION OF STAFF OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT COUNCIL (NEEC) CONTINUES IN MOROGORO REGION.
On the part of the journalists, greetings of thanks were delivered by the veteran editor, Salim Said, who promised to continue cooperation with the Council in informing the public regarding issues of Economic Empowerment.
Speaking about the seminar, the Executive Secretary of the Empowerment Council, Ms. Beng'i Issa said that, the goal is to build capacity in identifying empowerment opportunities available in this country.
The second topic was presented by the Director of the Department of Empowerment Funds and Citizen Participation in Strategic Projects, Mrs. Neema Mwakatobe whose topic was about the coordination of opportunities available in strategic projects and Empowerment Funds
After the opening of the seminar, a presentation was presented from the Director of Cooperate Services, Mr. Gwakisa Bapala who spoke about the nine main pillars of the Empowerment Council in the coordination and management of the 2004 Economic Empowerment Policy.
In the short seminar conducted by the Executive Secretary of the Empowerment Council, Mrs. Bengi Issa, it was attended by editors from 42 media including newspapers, television stations and radio stations.
