The National Meteorological Training Centre (NMTC) invites applications for admission into its programmes for the academic year 2024/2025. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS (METEOROLOGY) (a) Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Meteorology; One (1) Year. Admission is open to candidates who are holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with Four Passes in non-religious Subjects including Physics and Basic Mathematics (b) Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Meteorology; One (1) Year. Admission is open to candidates who are holders of Basic Technician Certificate in Meteorology (NTA Level 4) OR Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (PCM / PGM) with Principal passes in Physics and Mathematics or Principal pass and Subsidiary in either of the two subjects mentioned above. (c) Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Meteorology; One (1) Year. Admission is open to candidates who are holders of Technician Certificate in Meteorology, (NTA level 5) ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS (ICT) Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Information Technology The admission into this programme is open to anyone who has: Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with minimum of four (4) passes of “D” grades in non-religious Subjects including in Basic Mathematics and English OR National Vocational Award Level 3 in Information and Communication Technology related field and a Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations with minimum passes of “D” grade in four (4) subjects in non-religious Subjects which must include Basic Mathematics Qualified applicants should apply directly to the Institution by using the application form available here Complete application form should be sent to: The principal, National Meteorological Training Centre, P.O BOX 301, Kigoma.
