Curriculum and Professional Syllabi Development
The Board, from time to time, prepares professional curricula and syllabi for guiding and effectively disseminating training to candidates. The existing syllabi for the Professional Diploma, Graduate Professional, and CPSP have been prepared to provide intensive guidance to trainers and candidates preparing for the Board’s examinations.
The professional syllabi outline the number of subjects (core and non-core) in each level of the three blocs and state the expected learning outcomes of each subject after the completion of the training period. The contents provide detailed information on what is to be assessed in examinations.

Accreditation of Higher Learning Institutions' Curricula
The Board is also mandated to regulate the conduct of training institutions offering procurement and supply-related programs. In that regard, the Board developed the Curriculum Accreditation Guidelines for Tertiary and University Institutions Offering Procurement and Supply Chain Programs in Tanzania.
The guidelines standardize various programs and awards; competencies; trainers’ qualifications and staffing levels; and training duration related to procurement and supply chain professions offered by training institutions in Tanzania.
Based on the implementation of the Accreditation guidelines, the following programs and their respective institutions are recognized by the Board, hence their finalists (Third year students) can enjoy exemption from the lower programs under Professional Diploma and Graduate Professional, hence enroll for Certified Procurement and Supply Professional CPSP bloc examination levels.
Procurement and Supply Chain Management Programs recognized by the Board include:
- Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU) - Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain Management
